Party leaders Alex Salmond and Ieuan Wyn Jones on a hung parliament's 'opportunities' Welsh and Scottish nationalist parties say they will demand "fair funding" before negotiating with Labour or the Conservatives in a hung Parliament.The SNP and Plaid Cymru are also asking for the protection of the "most vulnerable" local services. SNP leader Alex Salmond said a hung Parliament, where no single party wins a Commons majority, would provide an "opportunity" for change. Recent polls suggest this is a possible outcome at the general election. If it happens, it could give the smaller parties a say in who forms the next government. 'Best possible outcome'Currently the SNP runs a minority administration in the Scotland, while Plaid Cymru runs the Welsh Assembly Government in coalition with Labour.
