Michael Whitaker wins Christmas Pudding Stakes at Olympia with GIG Portofino Point to prove: Michael Whitaker is back in action, at Olympia, after a four-month ban Photo: PA Fourteen horses went through to the second round of the Christmas Pudding Stakes and Portofino shaved nearly 0.6sec off the time of joint runners-up Nick Skelton (Carlo) and Oliver Guillon (Lord de Theize) of France.
