BA Crew to Strike as Talks Break Down LONDON—British Airways PLC's cabin crew will begin a three-day strike on Saturday after talks with management collapsed Friday, the Unite union said. BA Chief Executive Willie Walsh and Unite joint leader Tony Woodley earlier Friday met at the offices of the Trade Union Congress, the U.K.'s national trade union association, to try to hammer out an agreement. Mr. Woodley said he had hoped a deal could be struck but that Mr. Walsh had offered a deal that was less acceptable to the union than the terms offered last week, making it difficult for the union to accept or propose for balloting by members.
